Ruby Cadillac, A Murdered Angel

Ashes

Sunday I had had enough. I had to do something to bring a little closure to our lives, so I took Ruby's body down to Green Acres Pet Cemetary and we had her cremated.

I went and picked "her" up today. The wounds opened all over again. Almost 4 months later and the pain still hits me like bricks. and on my way back from picking up her ashes, this song came on that seemed to fit the moment. A silly song I hear on the radio all the time, and don't much care for, but today I loved it. Michelle Branch's Goodbye To You. I couldn't help but let the tears fall.

To everyone else she is just a dog. To me, she was everything.

I feel better having her back home. Some closure has come of this.

i have been wanting to buy one of your shirts to help support the cause of your legal issues reguarding this horrible , i don't know to call it an accident but that is the only word that comes right now. I know how much an animal can feel like a real person and i also know the pain of losing one. i grieve with you.

I had my 12 year old amstaff Mack cremated. I am so glad I did. He is now in his bed and I tell him I love him and kiss him bye every morning. Im glad he is here with me in his favorite place. When I lost him I lost part of my soul.
